Redundancy

In normalizing data, one of the main objectives is to prevent the storage of redundant data (redundancy). In some cases it may be a goal to store data in several places at the same time. The primary purpose of this is to ensure that data is not lost. In addition, it offers the possibility to use the identical data in different places so that the load on systems can be distributed and this also benefits performance.
